La Magnalonga Dorgalese

Are you curious about Magnalonga Dorgalese? Just check our photo album and you’ll immediately figure out the three main pillars of the initiative, which is all about typical Sardinian food, beautiful nature trails, and authentic local traditions of the Dorgali area.

Basically it’s about spending a day immersed in Dorgali’s beautiful natural settings, far from the usual tourist tracks, with several locations all along the route where to enjoy typical local food, wine and culture.

Last year we’ve been to the 4th edition of the initiative, titled “The Mountain-Seas-Side Magnalonga”, a great gastronomy trail unfolding for 9kms around Dorgali’s ancient paths, such as the ancient tunnel in the rock mountain, that once was a key access to the sea, or old shepherds settlements, nuragic villages and incredible scenery. With plenty of food stops all over the way. Check out out photo gallery from Magnalonga 2017!

This year we are planning a trip for the 2018 edition of Magnalonga Dorgalese, titled “The Lake Magnalonga”, opening on April 29, 2018.

For info on the rich festival program, that includes music acts, traditional Sardinian folkloristic dances, exhibitions of local artisanal craft and food production, photo and creative contests, and more, visit the event’s official site (website in Italian with no English version), or get in touch with us to book your Magnalonga experience with us.

Enjoy our last year’s Magnalonga photoalbum!
